Live The Dream and Save The World
When I was very young, I wanted to live the dream of saving the world. I wanted to be a hero. That was the dream I had envisioned in my young mind. I wanted to save the world.
I watched Superman and other superheroes on TV religiously. At 4 years old, I used a small blanket as a cape and flew throughout the house, jumping from the couch to the chair and back again. As far as I was concerned, I could fly and I was going to save the world.
Mighty Mouse was my favorite cartoon and after watching an episode, I would puff my little chest out and yell “Here I come to save the day! Mighty Mouse is on his way!”
All my life I wanted to stand up for the little guy and save the damsel in distress. That was the dream I wanted to live.
Being a superhero was my heart’s desire. When I figured out that TV superheroes don’t really exist, I realized I could still “get the bad guy” as a real-life hero by being a police officer. I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, a police officer. That was my heart’s desire. I wanted to live the dream of being a police officer.
Do You Know How To Live The Dream?
Let me ask you a few questions;
- What is it that you want, to be able to live the dream you envisioned for your life?
- What is your heart’s desire?
- What do you want to be when you grow up?
Yes! You’re an adult now and you’ve already grown up. But do you know what you want to be? Do you know WHO you want to become?
My guess is that somewhere between 12 and 22 years old, you forgot who you wanted to become. You forgot the dream, and thereby your true destiny.
I hope that’s not the case, but so many people forget to live the dream. They forget their dreams and the deepest desires of their heart. The lost the dream and don’t know what they want to do with their life.
So, what are your dreams? Do you know? Do you remember the dreams you once ad for yourself? Or, over time did those dreams slowly fade into the background of your life?
Where can YOU, make a difference in the life of another.
What is your American Dream?
Are You Living The Dream of Someone Else?
Maybe you’re living your American dream now.
Are you really? Or, are you living the dreams someone else set for your?
Maybe your spouse, or your parents, or someone else in your life superimposed their dreams over yours. Are you living YOUR American Dream, or are you living THEIR dream for you?
What is your heart’s desire? What do YOU really want to achieve in life? Who do YOU really want to become?
Perhaps you found just any ol’ job to make ends meet while you attended college. Are you still in that same line of work?
Maybe you are employed in the family business and don’t have the skills for your dream job. Or, are you simply fearful to try something big or something new? Does living the dream scare you now that you’re older?
What Do You Love and Are You Living That Dream?
What do you love to do that you’re not doing now?
Regardless of past circumstances, reasons, or excuses, the question remains, Are you living YOUR American dream – the dream you once dreamed of? If the answer is yes, congratulations! I wish you the best as you enjoy living the dream of fulfilling your destiny.
But, If the answer is no and you are not living your American dream, I hope you’ll allow me to help you rediscover and achieve your destiny. Who you are meant to be is your destiny.
You can become anything you desire–especially in America. This is the land of ultimate opportunity. If you can’t live the dream here, then it’s not likely you can do it anywhere else. It is right here and right now where you can fulfill your heart’s desire. Now is the time to really live your dreams.
It doesn’t matter where you were born, how old you are, how much money you have or how educated you are. What matters is that you know what kind of person you want to be and how to get become that person. That’s the secret. Know the dream and remember to live it. If everyone fulfilled their true destiny, we would all be happy and it would save the world.
